It Is Running!!!

Chris came in the house this afternoon and said he got the blue wagon running. I heard the old engine from inside the house. After 3 years of not moving I guess anything would make some noise. And boy did Chris smell like an old engine.

new addition

well - another corvair enters the back yard, a 62 monza wagon (very cool) although it needs floor boards it's gonna be great!

so far in order to get it running I've had to replace the starter and coil. (rebuilt starter $58.00, coil $31.00) not running yet due to really fouled plugs, I'm sure though with new it will fire up.

i wish it wasn't so cold because it really needs a washing. the poor thing stayed outside for 3 years; without so much as a look, but now in our yard (Chris' care)* we can't keep our eyes off it.

Forth listing a charm?

Listing this corvair over and over again has been very frustrating. This is my first experience with "Deadbeat" Winning Bidders. I guess e-bay makes it as easy as they can, while trying to be fair to both parties.

But UGH!!! Not going to empty the back yard very fast this way.

The Yellow Car

Chris got this one a few weeks ago. ( 1965 Chevy Corvair Monza Coupe ) He's done some work to it and now if going up for sale on e-bay. Estate Corvair 1966

Just Thought I would post a picture of the estate car Chris got a couple of weeks ago. The '66 wasn't running when it was towed in. About a week with the front end up on jacks. Some harness needed repair? I have seen it in a couple of places around the back yard, so i guess she's running now.
